Hi — Drift is a tiny site I made for when you want a random interesting page without doomscrolling a feed. You pick topics, hit Drift, and it sends you to something real from a curated list: museums, science, design, games, weird Wikipedia, that kind of thing.
If a site lets us embed it, it shows under the bar. If it doesn’t (lots don’t), you get an honest preview card and a button to open the actual page. No fake “live site” vibes.
Topics, likes, history, and favorites live in this browser’s
localStorage. No accounts. No Drift server remembering you.
There’s a labeled ad slot under the top bar. Until someone’s publisher id is hooked up, it’s clearly fake placeholder art. Details on Privacy for when real ads go live.
